Description: A very attractive hybrid between S. luehmannii and S. wilsonii, weeping habit, leaves are both small and large and new growth bright pink and red, flowers deep red to pink 10cm across in spring with edible pink fruit in summer. Will grow in part shade or full sun. No pimple pysillids.We love its flowers - 8cm pink pom-pom clusters with gold tips, forming on the ends of the hanging branches. They attract honeyeaters.

Use: Continual flushes of brilliant coloured new growth will liven up your garden with its vivid colour changes. Good in large tubs, as a weeping specimen plant or grow it as a hedge. Prune it regularly to shape and give it native plant slow release fertiliser. Mulch thickly in summer to retain soil mositure.
