Examples of disputes DSCV deals with includes behaviour of adults (eg bullying and intimidation, disagreements, insults and intruding on to another person’s property uninvited); vehicle property damage, noise, financial debt, family, workplace, contracts and trees, shrubs and creepers.
DSCV staff can provide advice and referrals over the phone, and takes many calls each year, however the real focus is on mediation, which is designed to help repair or maintain relationships experiencing conflict.
